Ask our technical teamCOMMON QUESTIONS
Before you begin.
What should I discuss before preparing a capture sample?
Share your starting material, target cell population, and planned analysis. Research discussions may cover plasma, serum, urine, saliva, CSF, pleural-fluid, or cell-culture preparations; compatibility must be confirmed for the selected product. Pre-clearing, size-exclusion chromatography, or ultrafiltration may be relevant to sample preparation. Follow the product-specific protocol.
What kinds of downstream analysis can I discuss?
Options to evaluate include flow cytometry; Western blotting; RT-qPCR; mass-spectrometry proteomics; live-cell fluorescence tracking where appropriate; ELISA or Luminex; RNA sequencing and miRNA profiling; and DNA sequencing, digital PCR, or methylation analysis. Multi-omics integration, comparative analysis, and pathway analysis can help frame biomarker-discovery studies. Captured-EV handling, assay compatibility, and whether analysis is performed on the capture surface require product-specific confirmation.
Which biomarker research areas can I discuss?
Potential research directions include neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, liver and metabolic, cancer, immune and inflammatory, and aging or regenerative biology. These describe exploratory study areas; disease-specific diagnostic performance and clinical use require separate evidence and validation.
Can we discuss a custom capture panel?
GeneFront can develop custom capture plates for a customer’s chosen cell type. Share your target population, research question, and marker requirements so the team can discuss the plate design, specificity and validation needs, lead time, and quotation.
How do I choose a cell-specific plate?
Start with your target cell population, starting EV preparation, and planned readout. Share these with our team so we can discuss the relevant EVHook configuration.
What is the listed plate format?
The catalogue describes 96-well plates with a pre-coated proprietary protein and molecular affinity mix. Plate sealers and a protocol are included with the plate in a sealed pouch.
How should the plates be stored?
The catalogue lists −20 °C storage. Confirm product-specific handling, shipping conditions, shelf life, and freeze-thaw guidance with GeneFront.
Can I order products online?
Submit a product enquiry for current availability, pack size, technical information, and a quotation. This website does not process online payments.
Are diagnostic or therapeutic outcomes implied?
No. The website describes research products and development areas. Intended use and any application-specific or regulatory status must be established for each product.
